Priority 05 · Policy area under development

Education & Skills

Equip People for Change

This page sets out Revival Party’s current direction of travel for education & skills. It is a public policy-development page, not a final manifesto commitment. Detailed proposals should be published with costs, trade-offs, evidence and implementation plans before becoming formal commitments.

The Challenge

Schools and colleges must deliver strong foundations while preparing people for a labour market being reshaped by technology, demographic change and new industries.

Our Direction

Strengthen literacy, numeracy and communication foundations; make digital and AI literacy a core capability; support teachers; expand high-quality technical and vocational routes and employer-linked apprenticeships; improve careers guidance; and make lifelong retraining easier to access.

Education & Skills Focus

Foundations first. Skills for the real economy. Lifelong opportunity. Revival Party’s education and skills policy would combine strong core learning with digital and AI literacy, high-status vocational education, apprenticeships and practical retraining, while publishing clear destination outcomes so learners and taxpayers can see which courses deliver real value.

Status: This policy area remains under development. Revival Party will distinguish between ideas under consideration, current proposals and formal commitments as the policy programme develops.
